Sweet Janet is about to have her baby boy ANY DAY now so I figured I better hurry and publish this post before its outdated 😉
This was my first time every doing a maternity shoot and I loved every cold minute of it. It was freezing and Janet was such a champ. We would take a few pictures and then hurry and bundle her up and walk to our next spot, only to do it all over again.
Even with the cold weather, I’m so happy about how these pictures turned out. Janet was seriously stunning in every picture taken. She definitely has that beautiful pregnancy glow and I’m glad she let me capture it on camera.
Janet and I go WAY BACK (just shy of 12 years) and first met when her sister and my brother got married. Here we are at there reception- we look like babies! ⬇️
We became instant friends and saw each other every once in a while throughout the years. I think we are similar in a lot of ways and so I remember always looking up to her and wanting to be more like her.
When I got back from serving an LDS Mission, Janet invited me to room with her and her friends which was a real blessing because I didn’t know anyone at BYU.
Lucky for me, Janet grew up with Matt and was instrumental in introducing us and the rest is history!
It’s kind of funny to say but I feel like I married into the best group of friends EVER ❤️ It’s so fun to see everyone getting married and (soon) having babies! Can’t wait to meet little Charlie boy. I hope he hurries up and gets here so I can practice taking newborn photos!
