Adelyn Rose at 6 Months
March 22, 2018- April 22, 2018
It was such a fun month with this little girl and it’s really hard for me to narrow down which pictures to post because I just feel like we did so many cool things! I LOVE feeling like I finally got this mom-thing down and I’m not worried about taking her anywhere. We have hiked and swam and played and did a few road trips and this girl was an absolute gem for all of it.
LOVES: Playing with her toys, car rides, when the dogs give her kisses, when her parents give her kisses, bath time, rolling over as fast as she can during diaper changes, and voicing her option with squeals and growls. HATES: Sleeping at night eating solids, torticollis stretches, being sick….
We started off the month celebrating conference and Easter with family. It was such a beautiful weekend! The weather was amazing and everyone was just happy and feeling uplifted. Addy was absolutely killing me in her new Easter bonnet and she really love the little eggs in her Easter basket. It was fun for me to put that together for her, knowing that she would actually interact and show interest. The first of many fun little holiday traditions with this gal.
The weekend after Easter I completed the SHAC Triathlon in St. George for my 4th time. I have been working really hard to get in shape after having Adelyn so competing in this was a big deal for me. I set a person record and got 4th in my age division so I felt pretty darn proud of myself. Matt and Addy were great cheerleaders!
After my triathlon, we went and did a little hike with our friends Dave and Mackay. It was such a gorgeous hike and Addy was a champ. We had to make a type of fire brigade of sorts to pass her up the steep red rock in some spots and she was still cute and happy through it all.

I love this picture because it’s such real life. We have done some of the strangest on-the-go diaper changes and I weirdly love the challenge of it!
I had a really great time FINALLY getting these three babies together and spending time with my girlfriends while Kelsey was in town. It is so crazy to see what a giant baby Addy is in comparison to Kamryn and Gemma but in a couple years they will be all about the same.

Little sleeping froggy haha
I was also able to join some of my family in Moab for a fun weekend hiking through Arches National Park. I’m embarrassed to admit that that was my very first time seeing Arches and I had such a good time. There were so many great, easy hikes with beautiful pay off and stunning scenery everywhere we went. Adelyn was killin me in her cute little sun hat and was very content just hiking with me in her carrier. She is such a good baby!
Just a few more random photos from the month of this sweety girl! My heart bursts with love for her about a million times a day!
